Alumni Helping Alumni

I have had the honor of serving as a coach, instructor and administrator at Cal ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ. During this time I have witnessed students and alumni who have donated their time and talent for undeserved youth, Special Olympics, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes to mention a few programs. I have witnessed athletes helping to pay teammates tuition, volunteering at local schools, volunteering at food banks, donating meals, collecting food for the needy, volunteering and working in foundations for a host of causes and much, much, more.
For me the gift of education offers students a meaningful, reflective process that guides them to find ways to make a positive difference on behalf of others. ÃÛÑ¿ÊÓƵ provides this service learning opportunity for students and in return the students give back to others. It is an attribute that has a ripple effect far beyond material things and is embedded in hearts.
I am very proud to be a part of the loving, caring community that is CALIFORNIA LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY.
